Eat & Drink

There are numerous restaurants and hotels in the area, that offer an eclectic mix of greek and european food. Stroll along the waters edge in the town and take your pick from a range of tavernas and restaurants. Below is a selection of restaurants that we have been to and recommend:

Papadias - An iconic taverna for fish, with over fifty years of history. Fresh fish, seafood, grilled meats. More cooked dishes in winter. The wine list won't set the world on fire, but it's not terrible.

Veranda del Vino - An atmospheric terrace, dedicated to wine lovers in the heart of the promenade of Porto Heli. An excellent option at sunset, as it affords beautiful views of the bay, but also for later, with carefully chosen music and creative tapas signed by the famous chef Dimitrios Skarmoutsos. The approximately forty labels of the list include wines from foreign vineyards and beers from Greek microbreweries.

Mpakaliko Ola ta Kala - Many quality products to take away and refreshing, light salads, casseroles and stews, nice seafood recipes and yogurt with fruit preserve for a traditional finish on the deck with the red and green chairs.

Nikki Cafe - A beautiful, relaxed environment on a terrace on the seafront within the Nikki Beach Club, where some of the dishes are also served. Nice, big, round wooden tables for and many suggestions that encourage the logic of sharing. The menu follows the comfort and pan-Asian concept of Nikki worldwide, with dishes such as satay chicken, Wagyu burger, special sandwiches (e.g. with king crab tempura, remoulade and Thai dressing) and sushi that are also served on the beach on fancy trays. 

Rozos Restaurant - very popular, terraced-based restaurant in the heart of Porto Heli serving classic Greek dishes.

AKS Hotel - located beatifully in a secluded bay with a splendid view towards the island of Spetses, this restaurant offers a wide range of european and greek food.

Nikki Beach Bar - located on the rooftop of the recently opened Nikki Beach Resort is a stylish and lively watering hole with a stunning view over the bay.

Amanzoe - For the serious foodies amongst you we recommend a visit to the Amanzoe resort, but be warned the prices are eye-watering...
